If you missed it earlier this week, Bethesda has announced that The Elder Scrolls Online will be dropping subscriptions fees in March. TheSixthAxis explores why this is a win-win for the publisher as well as gamers.
Yep I'm with you
I doubt I'll buy it right away but I'll watch some Live From Playstation streams and see if it grabs me. I'd greatly prefer a standard Elder Scrolls game that included 2-4 player co-op, but I was interested in ESO until I heard about the sub fee so I'll keep an open mind now that the fee is going away.
Careful that's heresy around these parts. I'm with you on wanting a co-op game though. The fact that the game is going B2P means I'll go back to it on the 17th as it was not worth the monthly fee.
Its still Poo Poo
How so? From what I played it is better than Skyrim with far more interesting missions.
The combat feels more interesting and fun than Skyrim. That's about it though.
Okay, now I'm in!
Hmmm sounds very interesting. But I'm wondering if they fixed those horrible bugs yet.
Too little too late for me I'm afraid. Should have been B2P from the get go. I played the beta, it was fun, nothing ground breaking, I would have bought it then and there, but that pay to play model pushed me away. Now I've lost interest. GTA V on PC just around the corner, same with Witcher 3. That should keep me entertained for the rest of the year.
I played the Beta and hated it. Last night I re downloaded and have been playing. So far I am blown away. The combat is much more skill based then any other MMORPG. The character development is amazing. The plots behind the quests are great. This game has really changed.
