I think it's a great handheld now, back in the day it was a different story. The battery life was ROUGH and batteries were pretty darn pricey back then. I owned a Game Gear and a Nomad back in the day and I loved them but it was so frustrating watching that battery light flash. Still it's a significant handheld and I'll always love it.
