Batman: Arkham Knight - Joker Confirmed?

Rocksteady Studios has crafted the best Batman video games of all-time. Many would argue that they are also the best superhero games ever, and those people may not be wrong. The long legacy of terrible superhero video games was put to a screeching halt by Rocksteady, and they’re preparing for their biggest release yet, which comes in the form of Batman: Arkham Knight.

Well the ending credits of Arkham City with the voice mail seemed to hint at something.

Lets face it, it's the Joker and it's a game based on a comic book...villains never stay dead forever.

Rocksteady have done a fantastic job with this series, I hope they do Hellblazer next, we need a Constantine game

You know, that would actually be a great fit for Rocksteady.

And seeing as they are owned by DC, they could probably do it too.

A Hellblazer game would be epic, playing as john and going through some of the old cases....hell, how bout Justice League Dark thrown in too?

It would be amazing I reckon

Demons, witches, zombies, vampires, Were-animals, Djinn. Then you have black magic you could use for a weapon, something you could upgrade.

Game could be pretty amazing and could be much grittier then the show or film

Plus we'd finally have a John Constantine who is played by a scouser

Please no. Tired of Joker and I was glad to see him dead in AC!

If joker is back I want nothing to do with the game. I'm sick and tired of him being the villain and I was hoping the last game would be fresh and so far it does.

As much as i love the Joker, i hope this time his not show up. Rocksteady already did the right thing with Arkham Knight. Throw a plot twist like Hush doing all the mastermind would be cool.

Dont be surprised if Joker is in this. I fully expect it.

And if he doesnt appear, the game will have something very important to do with his legacy.

The reason i say that is that the Arkham games have been the Joker's games more than Batman's games. I mean, the series has basically catalogues his criminal career.

Arkham Asylum showed him at the height of his career.

Arkham City showed his downfall, death, and the "end" of his career.

Even Arkham Origins was a Joker Origin story. It focused more on Joker than Batman. I mean, we even played as Joker while he was a failed comedian during his whole origin explanation. We saw his transformation into Joker, his arrival on the scene in Gotham as a heavy hitter, and basically the start of his criminal career as the Joker.

So i find it hard to believe that every game in the series has focused on the Joker like this, but he won't have anything to do with the final game in the series? No way. Not buying it. Especially with that Cadmus Labs easter egg in the DLC of Asylum. A company famous for cloning numerous Superheroes and Villains in the DC Universe.

So, even of Joker himself doesn't appear, prepare yourself for something heavily connected to him. Like Arkham Knight being a Joker, or a clone of his, or a clone of his son. Something like that.

When you look at the big picture of all 3 games so far, it doesn't make sense for him to be totally left out. (Unfortunately)
