What i don't understand is i thought Fable legends was a 2015 release how is using windows 10 or directx12?

Either its been delayed the other possibility exclusives are been made with directx12 now and windows 10 in mind. For me i hope its the second option because it means we are getting games coming out in 2015 with directx12 and don't have to wait till 2016.

W10 its already made, right now they are just fixing bugs and making small updates on some funtions,Fable Legends is evolving along side W10 so no reason for delays most likely....but it could happen they release the Xbox One version first to max the profits.

i thought that was known, when phil said some of there dev's were using the dx12 feature set now for some of their games. expect more games and new exclusive from epic on unreal4 plus dx12. gonna be epic...pun intended.

There are multiple DX12 titles for 2015. All of the titles out in the 2nd half will have some DX12 features. Windows 10 is already in technical preview. Hundreds of thousands of people have been using it for months. The broad preview beta is going to start soon. And DX12 has been available for developers to use for awhile.

Similarly the MP for Fable has been in Beta for months. The bad guys were winning like 52% of the time. They are still accepting applications for the beta BTW.

@mxguy - you know this is just the MP part right? There is a full single player campaign ala Fable 4. This campaign can be played solo or coop up to 4 players. Heros vs villains is just one mode (one very awesome mode).

The only thing I worry about is the degree of character customization. The website appears to have 10 hero prototypes, but it says you can customize their appearance and looks. In role playing games I am usually really picky about my main character. We will have to wait and see.

Would rather have fable 4 and not this crap. Who's with me

Yes, this game looks like a 20$ arcade game. Better not be full 60$

Volkama1304d ago

Wouldn't phrase it quite like that, but i do agree

Not me, I wouldn't want a Fable 4.

The Fable Universe seems ripe for a game like this. Dozens of heroes with different abilities and the Villain who can summon different creatures. Significantly more focused on what Fable does best compared to the nonsense they always tried to shoe-horn in.

We've had multiple Fables already and they've been progressively worse. The idea that somehow Fable 4 would remedy the whole series is stupid. Albion needs a different approach to it's strengths.

Focus on combat, humor and the unique art direction. Gamers always talking about "Single Player Experiences" yet the most successful games always have MP.

So annoying reading peoples comments on forums, having no concept of anything outside of their own little bubble.

I'm usually pretty meh on the fable games mostly due to the creators hyping them up with these huge ambitions and the games never reaching them. But this game looks pretty damn good.
