An official trailer highlighting how Xbox on Windows 10 will work giving details of cross platform play with supported titles in 2015.
Wow, you can record Minecraft now. Need Win 10 so badly.
Great trailer this should clear some confusion.
i totally agree. awesome trailer indeed.
That is some hot multiplayer action right there! That can really come in handy! What RTS game was that?
Holy cow! I go shopping for a couple of hours come back and I've got all this madness, augmented reality and more to digest!! So sick!
The world has changed, my friend.
indeed. I can get you up to speed over a few games of BF4, if you are up for it, padre! I got two of my boys ready and waiting, but I told em I aint going online unless, we have 4 man squad, at least.
Ah bro I have BF4 on PS4 and I'm flying out to Hungary tomorrow otherwise I would deffo join you. You got Destiny btw?
Aww man! I still need to pick up destiny! from the sound of things though, it makes sense to get it with the season pass, too. Will get it though. Dont level up too much without me!
Definitely get it with the season pass. Haha I'll level from scratch with you if you want.
Pretty much this. I went to register myself in school and then I discover this. Pretty exciting.
that was a sad trailer imo. Stream games ?, shows off a freaking year old game minecraft, shows of a Halo Beta ?, shows of Forza Horizon 2 ? an old game now, shows of Fable ? a turned into a multiplayer ?, damn seriously that was sad.
Not as sad as your attempt to downplay this. You seem to think this is E3 for some reason.
Obvious troll...is obvious.
septic is right, why are you even here?
Not as sad & pathetic as your comment . Do us all a favor go outside .
This is a great feature. Cant wait to try it out when win 10 drops.
So?? If I want to play quantum Break for example on My Pc I can but I need xboxO?? What about graphic setting, options, quality of games etc??? 1080 plus 60 fps????
the console is streaming the game to the xbox app. the specs still run off the xbox one.
So does it mean you can use your windows 10 pc as a tv for your xbox one?
So you'll be able to stream the tiny amount of Xbox One games to your PC. But you won't be able to stream your massive catalog of PC games onto Xbox One.
Yep, this is utterly pointless, seriously if you were away from home you could just take your XBox One with you, you would probably have your PC set-up on the same screen as your Xbox, especially if you have a good one, you're not going to compromise on display by having your XB1 on a lesser screen than your PC's on. Microsoft should keep PC and Console as separate entities and that way they have reasons to sell XBox Ones too people, with exclusive games. One thing that maybe would be good with this is if you're at work in an office, the company you work for doesn't limit internet activity on your lunch breaks, so you can play XB1 games through your PC or maybe tablet play away from home through Windows 10, I suppose that's a lot more open and accessible for people than say PS4 and Vita, but this assumes Microsoft will allow tablet compatibility with this feature. That assumes that your work place has Windows 10, if not then that selling point goes out of the window! Whether this can be a system seller for XBox One remains to be seen. I just think Microsoft should focus on the games, create great studios that show their importance and capabilities and the community will take them more seriously.
Microsoft should've put Xbox Live on Windows 10 instead of streaming Xbox One games to PC. Make it like Steam. Outside of giving up a TV or streaming better quality footage with OBS, XSplit, etc., there's no other reason to stream a videogame on Xbox One to one's PC. Build the Bridge From PC gamers to Xbox Live. It'd be magnificent if everyone on PC could access Xbox Live content like Steam, buy from Xbox Live like Steam and play with Xbox console gamers like a big ol' family. Like,...common sense projects are lost on Microsoft. Way more HALO games would sell. I would definitely upgrade to Windows 10 with this news. Day 1. No hesitation. No regrets. My two cents. You're free to disagree. Added: This is nothing like PlayStation NOW integrated into Samsung and Sony TVs. One does not need an PS4 to stream PlayStation content. It's not even like shareplay. There's no sharing if I have to share my account password, lol. Truly...I am disheartened. If Microsoft had sold Xbox Live on PC, Sony would have followed next. The future has to still wait for PC and console players to unified. The console war would have ended (sign).
and less console sales to pc gamers, it seems some games that focus on mp will hit both while shooters and single player experience may stay on the console only.
I understand your viewpoint. Nonetheless, the ability to sell a tsunami amount of Xbox exclusive software through an online store to PC gamers with their own hardware,...is...unbearably beneficial. I can't even imagine the amount of money this project neglects because you already need an Xbox One. There's no crucial reason(s) to stream to one's PC. In addition, there's an overwhelming amount of people who will forever buy consoles because building a PC is intimating to them. There's a market for pre-built gaming PC on TigerDirect.com, DigitalStormOnline.com & AlienWare.com. These are for people who want to play and go, just like console do it. "it seems some games that focus on mp will hit both while shooters and single player experience may stay on the console only." Yeah. The list of games that support cross-device play, which is not cross-play, from one's Xbox One to PC is limited as it is written in the fine print at the end of this video. To me, there is nothing of value shown here. What I wrote above is what I want. To play Halo Master Chief Collection on PC, to play Gears of War 3 on PC, to be able to buy Modern Warfare 2 from Xbox Live on PC, with gamepad support, would be....glorious. *Modern Warfare 2 has no gamepad support on Steam, which is horrific for me.
I'm confused on what specifically DirectX12 does. Streaming, video editing, cross play with PC players (any Windows) was already available on other consoles, PS4 including, and they don't use Dx12.
DirectX is the interface between the code and the metal. It has nothing to do with cross platform etc. DirectX 12 is just the latest version, and offers less overhead than previous versions.
that has nothing to do with dx12. dx12 is an api or application that is used to make hardware more effecient. easing the use of the hardware by cutting cpu utilisation in half. along with many other features for pc and xbox one.
Ahhh, my bad, I confused DirectX with Windows, silly me.
Streaming console games to your PC? Wouldn't most prefer the reverse?
I see now that it does tablet too.. THAT is cool
and the start of the microsoft revolution begins
