PS4 Version of Journey Is “Not Too Far Off;” PS Vita Port Would Be “Amazing”

Most likely. Thatgamecompany's Flower and flow were both granted cross-buy so it would only be natural for Journey to follow suit.

I read that it is a cross buy - if you owned it on ps3, it's free on ps4.
I don't expect superstardust ultra to be cross buy because they're adding a good bit of new content.

at hellsvacancy - your loss on SSultra - it'll have new content/modes.

Why it took that long for them to port it? I think there might be new added features, because both Flow and Flower where released since the launch of PS4.

The Last of Us wasn't locked at 60fps though. It seems that Journey will be. Either way, I'm sure they're busy with their new project too. ThatGameCompany is a small team.

It's a tough port to vita without losing some of it's charm unfortunately.

The game might not look it but it's very shader heavy, and requires a lot of processing.

I would like a port only if the game maintained it's charm:)

I played the hell out of this game on ps3 and will do so on ps4 too!

yea don't get me wrong it won't quite e the same experience but still enjoyable

tbh I've not seen a descent port yet on vita and by that i don't mean the game is bad. in fact many have been great but the graphics seem to have a tiny blur around the edges , it seems to lose its sharpness the latest dynasty warriors port i found to be the worst but nearly all ports I've played i seem to see it

Yeah a lot of the ports were definitely rushed. The one that killed it for me was the ratech and clank Nexus or w.e that tower defense game was...it was a mess. Even Spider-man played better than that mess.

Mortal Kombat was another mess but it's gameplay was maintained, the only downside was graphics.

I would say the best port/cross plat game I've seen (that was a big budget) would have to be NFS most wanted, FF X and Metal Gear Solid Collection.

I'm sure there are many more (Disgaea etc) but those were the ones that shocked me:P

I didn't play Last of Us last gen so it was good to play the PS4 version and the same for this game. I played GTA V on my PS3 so didn't get it for PS4. You do not represent everyone.

I loved the game on ps3. played through it 5 or 6 times and thought it was a brilliant idea done really well

Hope it has some extra content on ps4 cause I don't think I would re purachse without it

Just ordered the Collectors Edition few days ago for the PS3 (because I absolutely wanted the physical release)

I guess that I cant get any cross-buy benefits ?

Not a big deal for me though, definitely happier to have physical on PS3 than digital on PS4 with enhanced graphics.

thatgamecompany has grown so much during the course of ps3. flow to flower to journey. cant believe sony didnt buy this company or sign a long term exclusive/publishing deal.

its been a while now, want to see what kind of game they are making. if its a ms exclusive then i will be dissapointed.

just googled abzu. its not being developed by thatgamecompany. its being developed by giantsquid, a new company made by one of the art directors that made flower and journey.

Only played this about 6 months ago due to my backlog but this game blew me away. Quite short but I ended up completing it about 8 times at least. Cannot remember any other game in ten years that interested me enough to do that.

I don't have a PS4 but anybody that missed it on PS3, seriously this is a must play. This shats on anything that came out on PS4 (except TLOU) in 2014.
