VRFocus-Back in November 2014 the BBC took its first foray into virtual reality (VR) apps to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the beginning of the first World War. The result was War of Words VR from digital design and direction agency BDH, which was produced in conjunction with a number of other BBC shows. Focusing on the poetry of World War One, the app was made for viewing on an Android smartphone with the likes of a Google Cardboard smartphone-based head-mounted display (HMD). Now, over a month on, the app has finally arrived on the iOS operating system (OS) too.
