The Wii U 2015 information has been slightly under the radar. Of the late, Nintendo announced that their mascot Mario would not be making a big splash this year which has left players to wonder about Wii U 2015 plans.
VGChartz's Mark Nielsen: "With Tears of the Kingdom being so recent and Nintendo’s next system likely coming soon, it’s safe to say we won’t be looking at another big Zelda launch title this around and it’ll likely be years before any ruminations of the next game start to surface, but in the meantime we can always speculate. Breath of the Wild changed things for the series by multiplying its popularity manyfold, so it would seem only logical that the franchise will continue along the path Breath of the Wild started, however a look at the series’ history shows it might not be as simple as that. So, let’s take a look at what the future of this legendary series might have in store for us, blending in equal parts qualified theorizing and wishful thinking."
Given the medium's wild diversity, this primer of the essential video games everyone should try is a good place to start.
I can't fk with this list. They missed on alot of games probably before the writers times. Also I know people loved some portal but I was never a fan.
Tomb Raider 1
Driver 1
Abe’s Odyssey
FF6
King of Fighters 94
Mortal Kombat OG
LINK 2 the past
Street Fighter 2
Resident Evil 1
Infinite but not the first two games? Witcher 3 but not the first two games?? GTA V but not literally any of the games before it??? Portal 2 but not the first? Also if you're going to play Shadow of The Colossus play the remaster and not the remake. Can't say I disagree with the list but my man it's all over the place.
Awesome list! Hot take on Fear (and it's hard af expansion Persaus Mandate!) Bioshock Infinite is stellar, so is the Witcher 3 and you nailed it by having Ocarina of Time. So many fantastic games! Gotta play 'em all! Next one on my list is Prey after I beat Dead Space 2 and Splinter Cell Conviction.
Super Mario has had a lot of different iterations, but for MAR10 Day 2024 (Mario Day), CGM takes a look at which is the best Mario across the entire franchise.
I think this sounds like a very solid year for the Wii U. It will only get better as we inch closer to E3. I hope we see some of these rumors come true. I think Nintendo isn't even competing with PS4 and Xbox One anymore; they are on their own level.
Nintendo has needed to take a bit of a Mario breather for a while.
You're right, Zelda is the next big Nintendo game on my radar. Star Fox will be once I actually see some footage, I'm very skeptical about that game since they announced it nearly a year ago have said it WILL release in 2015 but haven't show any gameplay. Also the rumors of a new Metroid and Animal Crossing are getting me excited for the next direct or at least the big E3 directs.
Being a huge fan of Mario, that's beyond disappointing
The news of no Mario means for the Next 2 years it will be all about volume, so I expect a New Metroid Prime and F-Zero and a new IP to be announced at E3.
