Dealspwn writes: Another category that's always hotly contested, picking the best shooter of 2014 was no easy task. A traditionally conservative genre, this was one of the most innovative years we've seen in a while, certainly for FPS titles.
CGM Writes: Phantom Fury feels like stepping back in time to the late 90s in an explosion of pixilated carnage that only occasionally stumbles due to its unwavering reliance on old-school sensibilities.
It's about time we talk about the flamethrower and how it should be made better in Helldivers 2, starting with the ability to destroy bug holes.
Lam is among the 120 characters available for recruitment in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. TitanFall = 86 on metacritic
Only TMCC come close
(and link doesn't work for me)
Titanfall was good but lacked longevity in my opinion. Also, the bots really kill the game, I don't care what anyone says. There is no satisfaction in killing bots over real players. Add to this that lobbies often don't fill up, especially later at night, and it gets really old killing more bots than live players. Also, the Titans are awesome but it can become a bit of a clusterfuck when there are 4 Titans battling at once. Another huge negative that can't be overlooked here is no single player campaign to experience which would have really helped the game's lore. I would give this award to Advanced Warfare or Destiny over TitanFall, both games are much more addictive and have better replay value in my opinion. I have purchased and played all three games extensively and this is my overall opinion.
I would rather play Quake
