The Top 10 Games of 2014

Despite 2014 being one of the worst years in gaming history, both in terms of the number of disappointing and downright bad game releases as well as the business practices of gaming companies which became downright nefarious, there were still some great titles released this year that deserve recognition. It's the end of the year, which means it's time for an obligatory top 10 games of the year list.

I think for the first year of the new generation, I think the games are pretty good as There are some cool and great games. Here are my top HD ramake or remastered on the list.

10. Advanced Warefare (the best and most fresh COD I've played since MW2)

9. Titanfall (A new IP fromm the original COD creator and succeeded in what it was sent out to, a fast pace, action packed online shooter with mech and parka)

8. Far Cry 4 (Even if AC UNity and Watchdog suck, at least there is one great UBISOFT game in 2014)

7. Shadow of Mordor (my surprise sleeper hit of the year and the best LOTR game to date)

6. Sunset Overdrive (Insomniac redeemed themselves with this gereat fresh new IPs and certainly one the most fun I have with a game this year)

5. Mario Kart 8 (always love Mario Kart and I was disappointed with the last version on Wii but this new version is everything a Mario Kart game is and the online just works and fun as heck)

4. Bayonetta 2 (as with Shadow of Mordor, this is another sleeper hit and cult classic. The action will test your twitch reflexes and the action and chaotic elegant combat is nothing short of spectacular)

3. Forza Horizon 2 (One of the best racing games I've ever played. The size of the maps, the car selection at launch, the no-boundary, non-closed circuit spaces, and the handling and gameplay and dynamic weather all came together in a package that is hard to matched. I must have already spent over 100 hours on the game already and it keeps me coming back for more.)

2. Super Smash Bros. (The king of fun is back BIG time and what is even more surprising is that the net code is pretty darn near flawless with little to no lag. That along with me managed to snagged a GC controller adapter, I can die happy now.)

1. Dragon Age Inquisition (Bioware is back to form with the latest masterpiece of a role playing game. The best Bioware Role playing game I've played since Knight of the Old Republic on Xbox and it is no coincident that is won the VGA game of the year award and from manyother gaming sites as well)

disclaimer: This is just my opinion as someone else might feel differently. Please don't hate on me for not including some of yours favorite games on my list.

Driveclub is the best game this year, then inFamous Second Son, followed by Bayonetta 2, Far Cry 4 was a bit of fun but the ending was the biggest load of crap ever, Mario Kart 8 is boring as hell with dull power ups and tracks that are way too short, Forza Horizon 2 is one ugly mother F***er, Titanfall was great for a week then players dropped off in droves, Sunset Overdrive just showed why Insomniac needs to come back to Sony as it was boring as hell (great for and hour or so then real boring) COD is ok but way too easy or there are way too many 10 year olds on it, Super Smash Bros. well I dont know how in the hell anyone can like this crap, to put it plain and simple ITS SHIT, Dragon Age was outstanding and a treat to play as was Shadows of mordor, And GTA 5 and The Last Of Us are 2 great games worth doing all over again, Oh Donkey Kong was also a great game
