Technology Tell writes, "To start, the Light and Dark Skylanders weren’t available for Skylanders Trap Team at launch. The first figures of these new types will only debut on December 21, 2014, a few days before Christmas. However, the games had Light and Dark gates and villains since launch, meaning people have known and seen there was content they couldn’t access and use, and had to wait until almost two months after for it."
