Here's a comparison of Zoltan Chivay in The Witcher 3 and The Witcher 2 - the graphics difference is pretty huge.
Still leaning towards PC
Of course, it will never look as good as in the screenshots on console, they're clearly taken from PC
I wish I could play this on a beefed up PC. Unfortunately I still can't run the Witcher 2 on my PC with full setting on, it just becomes a slide show. So yeah I'll be getting the Witcher 3 on Console... which suits me just fine actually :)
Are you sure you're not selecting Ubersampling? That alone is capable of ruining the performance of most PC.
People stop fantasizing this game's graphics. No trolling. But after seeing all those crazy visuals lately, Witcher 3 doesn't really stand out that much. It's a freakin' open-world sandbox game. Its look is limited. Just look at those screenshots. It's got better textures. But the coloring, post-processing and character models are somewhat weak. It didn't give me a next gen feel, rather a modded version of Witcher 2.
This game will not disappoint me. What frustrates me is the policy of deny rumors of a downgrade with these new comparative images. The game was, is and will be great, the fans will buy it with closed eyes. They should not be afraid about haters. So many haters so much honor.
I don't fear disappointment too, bugs are not the end of the world. It would be far worse if some features didn't work as advertised.
I'm still leaning towards PC as well.
Jesus that jump from 2 to 3 is ridiculous! The speed at which graphics improve never ceases to amaze me!
The Witcher 2 still looks great/modern to this day minus stiff face animations :p
A significant upgrade for sure. Really hope this game delivers, I love CD Projekt!
Looks loads better but still not quite the same as the jump between previous generations. I suppose there is only so far they can go.
Well, "diminishing returns" is a fact.
Yeah, i knew that was Zoltan as soon as i saw it. I'm not sure if it's the best, but it's certainly one of the more interesting dwarves i've met in gaming.
Varric is also great, and I still remember Oghren from the first Dragon Age.
