Gamasutra writes: Janco Partners analyst Mike Hickey has weighed in on recent rumors of an Xbox 360 price, suggesting that such a move would be in Microsoft's best interests despite the company's existing price advantage over Sony.
If 360 has a price cut, the most in danger would be Sony, 250$ vs 400$, sure it IS an solid argument. So i really hope that rumor come true and Sony replicate with a 100$ price cut before the release of LittleBigPlanet, Resistance 2, MotorStorm 2, etc... LittleBigPlanet could bring a new genre of gamer, the good middle between the casual and the hardcore, and i price cute would be even more attractive before the launch of that game. Sure, PS3 is a luxe product, but it still have to be competitive, and with two consoles at 250$ and one at 400$, it would be hard to stay competitive, no matter the other arguments.
Agreed...Sony might ACTUALLY have a price cut. Or offer a good bundle. All in all i think Microsoft is starting to get a bit...desperate?
300 for a thing that might break any minute might overheat ....is it worth buying WiFi antena wich would now make xbox the same as 40 gig ps3 (price wise)? so whats the worry? HD dvd dead xbox is really gotta pull it together or by 09 they will be droping xbox again and focous on 720!!! Deja Vu ....xbox fanboys
Won't faze the Wii. The only thing that is going the faze the Wii is itself or the lack of good quality games.
