Jacob Stutsman reports:
''In debating the nature of violence, there is usually a pendulum swing between two primal forces; it is either "totally awesome" or "craven entertainment" depending on whom you ask. The argument tends to end there because violence is summarily trivialized before we can facilitate any kind of context in which it can be integrated into our cultural and intellectual conscious. If violence is simply mindless, then it may be that it is lobotomized, conscious thought no longer at the rudder of this tepid mind. But if there is a banner under which it can be beneficial, then like any unstable element it must be handled with care.''
