Kotaku: "That HD remaster of The Last of Us sure looks great on a hi-def television. But on a standard TV, it looks downright spooky."
Standard TV..What is this ?! Dark Ages ?!
I actually still have a TV like that, have it hooked up to a VCR, and online you can still find certain catalogs of underground B movies on VHS. I have a thing for nostalgia.
Forgot you could still play video games on those TV's. I actually use to have that same TV, pretty small, grey and had the VHS tray at the botton. LOL And poor dude who plays his PS4 on that TV from the picture.
Lol WTF!!! I know news can't be that slow after TGA/PSX 2014?? C'mon dude, must try harder! Jeez ;/
well, how many times you get to see Flintstone playing with ps4 ?!
OMG The horror the horror. :(
Come on man, what is this! I went travelling to Cuba a few years back in the sticks where the locals lived in communities built of mud & straw huts. The most surprising thing was every single home had working LCD flat screen tv's in. Who the hell that even knows what a games console is, doesn't have a flat screen LCD TV in 2014!?? - you can pick them up for as little as £60 brand new these days.
BS! Nowhere will you find a decent sized lcd tv for £60
What are you talking about, who said anything about size?? Of course you cant buy a large LCD for £60, that's just common sense. you can easily pick up a 19" in that price range though.
negitive resolution. but hey i still play my ps2 and n64 on a SD tv. i still have my (smaller and older than this) SD tv i use to play goldeneye on when i was 5-6.
These TVs make me feel old lol and I'm only 24 lol :D they were the days :D
im 24 too :) and yes, the days they Were indeed!
I remember when I was young, I had a old color monitor(not TV), that we used on a TRS-80 that my dad gave me when he upgraded to a PC. For it's time it had amazing pixel and color quality compared to CRT TV's. Was a massive 13" monitor. I believe it was made by Tandy. I wish I still had it, because it was better than many CRT TV's that came out even in the last days of CRT.
lol yea I remember when i was 12 my parents putting a tv in my room that they had growing up. It was huge and weighed over 150 lbs. Didn't have an outlet for my super nintendo on the tv so my dad had to freaking splice some wires together to hook it up.
