Explore the entire galaxy in No Man's Sky as showcased in this new trailer.
This game looks beautiful, but besides exploring and shooting rocks in space, what else do you do?
You can go bowling with your cousin..
Id like to know that too, from what I have seen so far it will get boring quickly. Hope Im wrong!
Yeah. It looks really nice and the concept seems cool, but I'm trying not to get too excited since I really don't know what you do in the game, lol.
So with all the videos you've seen of this game, you've never seen combat? Both dogfighting, and ground? There's also founding planets, I believe colonization aswell, trading, and managing finance, in order to upgrade your ship, and/or your weapon/tool, there is formation of allies and foes, and more... What else do you want, I'll check to see if they got that too...
Yeah, I've never seen combat outside of shooting asteroids. If you could post a link to one, that would be awesome. And I've never read about this game including colonization.
Im sorry but that looked like sh*t. When they showed gameplay it was 2 seconds worth before shifting back to the same scene of asteroids or a planet. The mountains in the snowy area we not even loading the textures until you were right up on them and as they were loading you could visibly see the game stop for a split second and continue again. I know this doesnt come out until next year and I am really hoping this game is good because this genre is lacking and i really enjoy these types of games. Right now though, this video was not impressive and does not help me to keep looking forward to it. Very bland so far. We will see I guess.
This game is on my top wanted list since the announcement, but I have to agree that this trailer shouldn't even have been released. The pop in is the worst I have ever seen. I used to think that it wasn't a big deal, but playing FC4 on PS4 I soon realized that, when it is done so extremely bad, it can be very intrusive to the fun and immersion.
"The pop in is the worst I have ever seen." Its actually not pop in's, it is the planet fading in then disappearing as you move past it as every thing is proceduraly generated with maths algorithms Basically the planets you are seeing is based off calculations, it is not on the game cd, or in the cloud or stored anywhere. Look for the game informer interview of No Man's Sky, Sean murray explained it
I think it is already calculated and simply not rendered. Anyway, the "draw distance" was disgusting.
genre is lacking? what?
These guys at "Open World Games" always get exlusives, him and his twin brother, they have a great Starwars channel aswell.
:') Thank you so much!
Oh of course you're welcome, keep up the good work.
I never understood why the hype was so big in the first place. Now everyone is starting to realize...
The hype is bigger than ever, just so you know. :D
Stop trying to speak for everyone. Game is not for you, move along. Stop trying to bash a game a lot of us like, just because it isnt for you.
Probably because It's something new... something fresh... something unique.... Hey It's not a fps or a football game... when new creative things get introduced, folks start bashing it because It's not a new Halo or Uncharted... Games like this,.games like heavy rain will never fully be taking advantage of because this new generation is So stuck on killing and explosions... I'm for anything new...
I dont think people necessarily care about killing, but whats the point of the game? Just flying around looking at things? I mean there has to be some sort of purpose if they want people to play. I dont think many people will enjoy it for long if all you do is farm materials to upgrade your ship
what they NEED to do is make first person sports games
The game is all about nirvana and feng shui, just relax lay back and FLY!! (worthless)
