IM PLAYIN lists a few things that you might not know about the Xbox One. Including the location of the manual disc release button, and the fact that you can stream Windows Media Centre 7 through the console.
It can self destruct
At least they stated "might not know". I hate when articles tell me I don't know things and then it ends up being obvious facts.
Currently best value in terms of price and included games, best media console, great exclusive lineup, awesome updates and Windows 10 is coming. Had MS secured GDDR5 at the last minute like Sony it would have probably been the most powerful Console. Even now it still has some really amazing and beautiful games. I mean just look at the Quantum Break alpha vs Uncharted 4 alpha. Sony doesn't have anything that blows the doors off of the Xbox One.
"I mean just look at the Quantum Break alpha vs Uncharted 4 alpha. Sony doesn't have anything that blows the doors off of the Xbox One." Keep telling yourself that and maybe, eventually, the rest of the industry will believe in the same fairy tales that help you get to sleep at night.
Visually I prefer Quantum Break too. And I prefer the gameplay as well. QB feels extremely badass. But that is why I bought a Xbox. I expected far more from Next Gen Uncharted. Graphics are great but I felt like I already played that part somehow. Still great game and amazing developers.
That's true. Both look great but not one looks overwhelmingly good over the other. I'm stoked to own both consoles.
i disagree i thought there was some clunkyness to the combat and movement in QB compared to Uncharted QB the movements just don't seem fluid enough. there either to fast or to slow and we say that in the demo and in the combat scenes.
Like several of the games released lately, The Xbox One requires you to first connect to the Internet and download the Day-One DRM patch before you can really do anything with your system. Most of us have high speed Internet, so this doesn't pose an immediate threat. However, twenty years from now - when Xbox Live no longer supports the Retro Xbox One and our hard drives crash - well, enough said. There's also the risk of botched updates. Don't see all this cloud-based hoopla holding up long term.
Meanwhile,back in reality....
I been a day one MS fan from the first reg Xbox, one of the first xbox live members very proud of that, But I did learn a lot reading this, I order a hdmi switch wasted my money, cause all I need to do is hook my ps4 to my X1... Sorry sorry ps4 have to piggy back my x1 lmao funny
your tv only has one hdmi? I'm seeing allot of long noses and flaming 🔥 pants with these pro Microsoft jabs masquerading as comments 😒
Or he has multiple hdmi cords. I have 4 with only 2 hdmi jacks.
You should of bought a new tv.
I feel your pain with respect to the disc drive quitting on you. I've had to replace my system twice now and both times I did an express exchange and both times they screwed up and charged my credit card making the refund a frustrating and lengthy process. Couple that with the worst "manager" experience I've ever had I was pissed. Escalated it all to the next level above that putz and I was given enough monetary credit to buy 2 games and extend my Xbox live membership by another year and they extended my warranty on the 2nd replacement to next December free of charge. Hold their feet to the fire on things like this and they'll do right by you.
Would have settled for your avatar.
Wow that Hard Reset thing helped me a lot! Thanks article for telling me :D ive had to hard reset about 2 times since i got my xbox last year, and now i dont have to go for the cable :D
Clean your Xbox LOL
Still waiting for a game to make me buy an Xbox one. :-/ maybe gears. But the way the last one looked idk
after PS experience, there's all this excitement surrounding ps4, and then there are these lonely thumbnails of xbox ones, with uninteresting titles like, "A Few Things That You Might Not Know About The Xbox One" or, "Cheap Xbox One Console Deals" (again?)... and of course the empty promises from Phil Spencer. Industry standard.
