Survey sent out to some Assassin’s Creed Unity owners

Looks like Ubisoft are reaching out to fans about what they might want to see in the future Assassin’s Creed installments. Emails are reportedly being sent out to some purchasers of their latest game, Assassin’s Creed: Unity, asking questions with 3 available options either ‘Not Interested’, ‘Nice to Have’ and ‘Must Have’

Maybe we will be able to steal and drive stagecoachs in Assassins's Creed Victory

poppinslops1023d ago

That'd be cool...

There were tonnes of scientific breakthroughs throughout the Victorian period, so it will be interesting to see how the 'new' technology plays into it.

'Ripper Street' has been great at condensing the quintessential elements of Victoriana into a television format.
I imagine 'Victory' will have a similar tone, but with Assassins and Templars in place of the coppers and crims...

I wish they sent me a survey!

how bout a 2-4 year break.. milk them udders

DragonKnight1023d ago

Nothing's preventing you from taking a 2-4 year break.

dreamed1023d ago

Its not the consumers that need to take a break, its the franchise, its being milked to death,2 games & a shitty companion app all at once.

I love the franchise but im pretty much done tbh.

DragonKnight1023d ago

Yes it is the consumers that need to take a break. Just because "you're done" doesn't automatically erase the people who enjoyed the games so far. So really there are 2 situations here.

Either A) You're buying each game and are responsible for your own misery that causes whining.

OR

B) You aren't buying the games but feel the need to say that games you don't play suck, that franchises you're done with need to end, and that obviously everyone should feel the same way.

You taking a 2-4 year break will have the same end result as them taking a 2-4 year break. That being you won't be exposed to the games for 2-4 years.

It's the developers that need to take a break, as "dreamed" basically said. If they dont take a break, and take a step back for a while all we will ever get are these variations on their usual formula year after year with no real evolution. The series really needs to catch its breath.

You know the massive amount of people working on this series year after year after year have lost their passion for it and who can blame them.

I sincerely hope PS4 owners complain about the 900p graphics. I've heard the excuses but I don't believe them. Why should a game have a lower res than the year before? Of course Ubisoft are a business who must generate profits but they shouldn't neglect the artistry and pride that comes from making every version the best they can.

It's not rocket-science...

At it's core, Black Flag was a last-gen game...
Meanwhile, Unity is one of the first proper next-gen exclusives.
It has enourmously detailed environments which are chock-full of AI... No console is going to display that in 1080p without the frame-rate going to hell.

As to the matter of AC:Victory, I'm all for it!
I'm loving Unity and I despise the British, so stabbing them in the face should be a blast!

I would like to see more frames per second.

1. Game that runs perfect, no fps drops, no crashes.
2. Actual campaign co-op, none of that side mission only co-op.
3. Bring back the multiplayer.
