Smash Bros. debuts to an estimated 400,000 units in Europe/Hardware up 35%

VGChartz writes: "Nintendo sells an estimated 400,000 copies of Super Smash Bros. Brawl in Europe, Wii hardware sees large increase week over week. analyses the situation. The first week sales of Super Smash Bros. Brawl have exceeded 400,000 units in Europe / Others.

The release of the title caused a 35% week to week sales increase of Wii hardware in PAL territories, causing the system to exceed the 200,000 units sales mark this week.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl, released earlier this year in Japan and America, currently stands at roughly 6 million copies sold to consumers. The game opened with sales of 1.7 million units in the Americas and 800,000 units in Japan, making it one of the fastest selling Nintendo titles of all time."

This will be the wii best seller(behind wiiplay and sports which dont really count imo).Impressive how much mario kart is still selling.and unfortunately metal gear will not have legs.
