You can finally sign up for the upcoming Planetside 2 PS4 beta phase. Which faction will you choose to fight for?
At long last! Thank you, I hope the frame rate will be 30 rock solid.
Did they give a date??? I'm sick of waiting, hoping they don't get the DriverClub curse....
Just play in on PC it will be much better on PC!
supposedly its the amount of players on server that causes it. i hope they just reduce the amount of players slightly, because if there is 500 a server it will seem like alot imo.
Have you ever played planetside before? lol
Clearly you don't know anything about this game. I think you'll see when it drops what it's about and how it works. or you can play the PC version. But I know not everyone can "just play the PC version it's way better" like some kinda PC elitist. Check out some videos and see instead.
That's the point of the whole game TOTAL CHAOS AND HUGE NUMBER OF PLAYERS ATTACKING EACH OTHER ON LAND, AIR AND WATER JUST LIKE A REAL SCI-FI WAR ;)
That page has been up for a while nothing new, I had already registered before. But alittle dissapointed its a "closed beta" was gonna invite a few people to it, and IDK how limiting player base to a huge game like this is gonna help them when, compared to actual conditions when game launches.
Maybe this closed beta will host the same number of players as the full game when it's released and actually it doesn't matter to me how many players are in the beta as long as I am playing with this game :D
actually the devs have said its the amounto f players thats causing CPU issues due to the amount of players on screen. im just saying what they said and yes i have played it on PC briefly
Yeah, the game is very much CPU bound.
NC rules, fact.
Terran Republic FTW!
TR reporting in. Would love the ps4 version as my fps gets choppy on the pc version during big battles. I'm CPU bottlenecked like most others.
What PC do you have? Did you try lowering graphics settings?
It will get choppy on PS4 too, have you seen the beta footage? it barely holds 30 fps with no action and lots of screen tearing.
Cool, can't wait to play this.
