Project Morpheus Kept Shuhei Yoshida from Retiring

VRFocus - In recent years Sony Computer Entertainment's (SCE) Shuhei Yoshida has become something of a celebrity within the PlayStation community. Yoshida, who acts as Head of Worldwide Studios, has of course worked with SCE for a long time but increased appearances at press conferences and other events have put him in the public eye more than ever. In fact, he’s been with the company long enough to even consider retiring. As it turns out, the PlayStation figurehead has stayed on for at least one clear reason; to work on PlayStation 4's Project Morpheus virtual reality (VR) head-mounted display (HMD).

That's good, he's a great guy. Hopefully Project Morpheus turns out well.

He said when he turned 50 started thinking about retirement...has he heard of Warren buffett? Most execs hit their prime at 50 and may still be working to attain their dream job.

Politicians too.

Shu is the man! Shu and when Tretton was around dealing with Sony were my favorite gaming personnel.
