5 Reasons why I've spent 60 hours (and counting) with Dragon Age: Inquisition

Paul Verhoeven: Regardless of your drive to be a wild-eyed completionist or not, Inquisition is the best game I've played in years. The writing is second to none, the combat is fantastic... but here are the real reasons I think it excels. Also, here are the reasons that I've spent sixty hours on it since it came out on PC.

The story is too old to be commented.

I loved Robocop, Total Recall and Starship Troopers!

I wish they still made action movies like that. Paul Verhoeven is an ultraviolence master.

Bioware makes good games. Dragon Age Inquisition is a great game.

Been a big fan of Bioware since the Jade Empire days on Xbox 1 (2001) but I find it odd that when Mass Effect 3 came out it was all pitchforks and torches about how Bioware rushed the ending.

Now they've made DA:I and all of sudden praises are being sung to them. Either support a developer or don't, not all of them are perfect and you can definitely tell the sheep from the goats as far as quality developers are concerned.

You don't support a developer or not. You criticise flaws in work and you praise the things they have done well. It doesn't matter whether it's Bioware, Ubisoft, CD Project Red or a game Barack Obama and Vladimir Poetin created together in between meetings.

We should give feedback on what a developer does, not who they are. In short, I couldn't disagree with you more.

---->My point.
You.

Constructive criticism...yes. Destructive criticism from self-entitled gamers who whine, complain, and make death threats when they have the chance...no.

You don't have to agree with my opinion but what I stated is the reality of gaming today...Love them today hate them tommorow.

I also pointed out the "sheep from the goats" as in the developers who consistently screw up vs. those who have a good/decent track record.

I would think that they're being praised because they actually listened to the fans on this one.

I loved the Mass Effect saga, specially 3 and spent hours on the mp, and now this game is awesome I've been playing as a mage and want to star again as a warrior.

Exactly I agree with you. They made a mistake and listened. But they were also great at making games regardless of feedback before Mass Effect 3.

I enjoyed Mass Effect 3 as well but a BIG deal was made over the ending.

Bioware has a good track record. Gamers forget what experiences they delivered for their entertainment/enjoyment.

I've got this game but haven't started it yet. Is it as good as people make it out to be?
