(CriticalIndieGamer) Despite its issues, Candestine has a lot of promise. Not only does it sport an original concept, with its realtime dual play styles, it captures the atmosphere of Uplink and Wargames, to make you feel like a hacking pro. It’s just a shame that, at present, the same attention hasn’t been lavished on the action aspects of the game. The barebones are there, but it just doesn’t feel fleshed out enough to be as enjoyable as it should be. With time these issues will be fixed, and that’s why you should wait for a few updates before pulling the trigger on this one.
