Hardcore Gamer: The week of Black Friday tends to be a lesser version of "Feast on the Hollow Husks of the Weak Week" (AKA the week between Christmas and New Year's).
Seriously, it's like hunting season out there.
Rabbit season!! http://youtu.be/9-k5J4RxQdE
I always love killing those Christmas noobs :)
Xmas noobs are the worst. They're almost as bad as the valentines day nerds.
Or the St. Patrick's Day Nascar drivers...
tons of awful players on an awful game.. most of the YTers have either stop posting or are posting NOWHERE NEAR as much as they used. The game is kinda garbage and it has nothing to do with SBMM.. the spawns are garbage, the map design is garbage, the weapon balance is very garbage, the amount of roof campers is garbage. Dont take my word for it, look at the number of YTers that have moved on from this lame game.
I used to be a huge defender of Call of Duty; just check my history. But I completely agree with you.
i couldn't disagree more. Ghosts was a disappointment. AW is a direct improvement to BLOPS2. "YTers" is a really, really poor way to discern which game is good. Also, the game just came out, calm down a bit. What roof campers? I dont run into that problem. Spawns? you spawn close to your team, and generally away from the opposing team. Its no worse than any other COD. Map design is great. They're back to the 3 path system that works. As for the guns, I can do great with pretty much all of them, so I'm not really sure where you're coming from with that.
Yeah idk wtf some of these ppl are talking about. I boycotted COD for the last few years and finally gave in because i liked the different direction it took. I can say that after the many hours ive put in this game did warrant my purchase and camping is a non issue and nowhere near the disgust it use to be in all other COD games. This game is so fact paced and the maps are done in a way its virtually impossible for you to not bump into the enemy and get your head whacked off if you try to camp.
A troll is always and will always be a troll. Speak for yourself...if you don't like it, return the game coz a lot more are enjoying it.
Man we really need to see a return of old school shooters like timesplitters , quack and unreal in this day in age
Luckily we're getting a fan-made new Timesplitters, and a new Unreal Tournament. So, there is hope.
Completely agree. Would kill for the old arena shooters to make a comeback to the mainstream market. Too many games piggyback you and pretty much make you good right off the bat. Halo, Unreal Tournament 2004, Quake 3, Timesplitters, Counter-Strike were the balls back in the day.
the last attempt at unreal was terrible. the last good one came out in 2004.
One bad apple doesn't spoil the bunch.
I just dont think they understand what made the original ones great. It wasnt only showing off their graphics engine that made them fun..
@thelastawakening Don't think I've played quack!!! Does it involve killer ducks or something? I have played quake though!!! Lol
lol oh you know what I meant ,,, a shooter involving all the great ducks of the world .. daffy duck, donald duck , howard the duck all in one big battle royale
everyones gotta start somewhere.
see you start off you fps gaming on cod now. Then you sowly progeress up to BF4, CS etc etc
I started with BF, Moved to CS then got into COD this year.
It feels like they turned off skill based match making or toned it down.
Shame to see this and other yearly churns keeping quality games like smash out of the U.K. Top 10 on launch week, I mean come it's call of duty it's been out a month or so now as well, smash is fantastic tho, guess they just haven't shifted many Wii U's in the U.K, typical great consoles like ps4 and wii u and there all buying xbox ones. Nearly as bad as when just dance was number 1 for nearly 2 months ;( haha, GAME had a sale on call of duty steel book last week and again with Black Friday so that will help it continue to shift millions, like it needed help haha.
