Not only did the Wii U sell quickly during Black Friday weekend at eBay, eBay's Cyber Monday sale today showed an even greater demand for Nintendo's console.

It's even less than that. Some deal hunters used several eBay accounts so they can checkout 100+ items per order -- for reselling purposes.

wonderfulmonkeyman1270d ago (Edited 1270d ago )

That's likely true for all three.

vikingland11270d ago (Edited 1270d ago )

The pro's said console gaming was dying. And yet they all 3 are selling great.

Paprika1270d ago (Edited 1270d ago )

Pros? Lol that short for Pretty Rare Orangutans?

Momma always said not to listen to the pros!

It's sarcastic slang for Michael Pachter,

Here's a motherloving bubble lol

polloloco1270d ago

PS4 and Xbox one selling well. The Wii u is not selling well at all.

wonderfulmonkeyman1270d ago

Hate to burst your anti-Nintendo bubble, but it's not far enough behind the XBone for you to be saying that.

remixx1161270d ago

Lol someone already busted one of his bubbles, careful bro you down to just 2 left.

It is considering its been on shelves twice as long. What does it take for you to admit it sells poorly? I mean really. I love the damn thing, but i cant deny we havent had a console sell this bad since the Dreamcast. 15 years of market growth later, it should not be selling that bad.

AKR1269d ago

@Polloloco and @Concertoine

And the Dreamcast's shelf life was HOW long?

Either way; Nintendo is making a profit off of the system, not to mention they've been selling a steady stream of units from since MK8's release. We'll see just how "bad" it's selling after the Nov. and Dec. NPD results are posted.

But like I said - as long as N is making a profit, that's all that matters.

the wii u and xbox1 are actually not selling very well, they only sold well on black friday and heres a news flash......verything sells well during the holidays

vikingland11269d ago

Just because the xb1 isn't selling as good as the ps4 doesn't mean it's not selling well. You may be correct about wiiU.

Nintendo will dominate the video game industry once again

BlissSeeker1270d ago

Just cyber Monday. Will probably slow down again after the sale's over (unfortunately).

OtakuDJK1NG-Rory1270d ago

nope Xmas is around the corner. Wii U almost dominated Japan last year but 3DS was ahead,

LAWSON721270d ago (Edited 1270d ago )

Did the Wii U even have any worth while sales this past week? I see all these posts about how the system did for Black Friday, but where were the killer deals to actually make customers solely go to the store for one like PS4 and Xbone. Nintendo is great and all but sales and deals are certainly one of their weak points

Deadpool6161270d ago

There were a few Wii U console bundle sales. As far as the Wii U games, there wasn't that many big ones on sale. If there was it was at a minimal discount. I found $10 dollars off Smash Wii U, Mario Kart 8 for $35, BOGO~40% where I payed full price for Bayonetta 2 and got Hyrule Warriors 40% off for around $35.

theizzzeee1270d ago

I know Best Buy had a bundle deal with SuperMario World 3D and Nintendoland plus Super Smash Bros and Mario Kart for $340 and Target had Wii U games buy 2 get 1 free.

wonderfulmonkeyman1270d ago

Didn't look very hard, didja?
Smash bundle plus a game of your choice for 249.99, for one, plus the return of the really good Mario 3D World and MK8 bundles for a nice mark-down on top of another game.

Deadpool6161269d ago

Where were you when I needed you the most wonderfulmonkeyman?! I could have saved a fist full of dollars. I have to keep my eyes open next time.

LAWSON721269d ago (Edited 1269d ago )

Where, some no name retailer? I seen like every BF ad and saw nothing near as good as $250.

Trolltroll1270d ago

Just wait for the offical Nintendo sales...

kwandar1269d ago (Edited 1269d ago )

I agree, there were not many Wii U sales when I looked. That was a bit disappointing as I suspect they could have put more consoles into user hands, increasing the base.

That being said, I'm wondering if there just weren't as many in the stores/delivered to stores, so there was no point in having a sale?
