Once the 3DS version of Super Smash Bros. hit early in October, it was thought that excitement for the Wii U version would be significantly reduced. We know all the characters and how the game will play, so what’s there to say? It was clear Nintendo knew this tepid reception would occur, so they saved their big guns for last month’s 50-Fact Extravaganza. Ever since, we knew Super Smash Bros. for Wii U wouldn’t just be a prettier version of its 3DS counterpart. It’s the real deal.
