Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions review – shapely shooter - Metro

"The game that kick-started Xbox Live Arcade and made twin-stick shooters fashionable again is back, and better than ever.

Everybody has a favourite golden age coin-op, even if they don’t realise it. You may not have been born when it was originally a success but through decades of copies, clones, and sequels these games still exert a huge influence on gaming. If you love Resogun then what you’re really enjoying is Defender and if you’re addicted to Pac-Man Championship Edition it’s all the more obvious you’re playing a game that has changed little since 1980. Our favourite though has always been Robotron 2084, and this is its best modern descendent so far."

The story is too old to be commented.
