The thing that’s most disappointing about Assassin’s Creed Unity is it could have been a great game. This isn't the end of the AC franchise though. Despite its issues, Unity has laid solid groundwork for the next Assassin's Creed title
I wish Ubisoft delayed Unity just a few months. I bet it would have been a much better game.
A Bi-yearly release schedule might help.
For sure. It's a great game in my opinion, but they definitely could have used a few more months to polish out some of the glitches. It's a massive game and I know that the huge number of NPCs makes it much more likely for glitches to occur, but they should have been allowed the time to get it to a more polished state.
Ubisof needs to stop releasing broken gamez. omge
It has some issues, but broken? Nah, not even close. People need to quit with the hyperbole. I haven't had any trouble playing the game even before the patches. It's just glitchier than past AC games. I'm sure it could have used a few more months in the oven to iron out those glitches. But even as it is, it's perfectly playable. I just see more glitches with NPCs than I would like. Other than that I'd say it's probably the best AC game to date.
Ubisoft makes some of the best games and i for 1 love there AC series. So unity a bust this time but its still a good game when its fixed. Next years AC game will be a day 1 buy as well. One game out of how many"shit happens"
Ill re type your last sentence but without the UBI blinkers on. One good game out of many shit happens. Far cry 4 is a good game out of many shit. But I expect that franchise to be milked to death and ruined soon
Unity might have been my favorite in the series had it not been so buggy, had it not required a broken app and the Initiates crap for 100% completion. I enjoyed 3, loved Black Flag and Rogue - but I didn't feel like I was playing as an assassin in those games (for obvious reasons in the last two). This is the first game since 2 that I felt like I was playing as one and I loved that. I love some of the gameplay improvements too; the new climbing mechanic is fantastic.
It isn't the beginning of the decline because AC3 holds that title.
the game is not as bad as people make out to be.im not saying its perfect.its just ok.my only problem was with the chests.
Maybe not but if broken AC games keep being released it will decline real fast.
Assassin’s Creed Unity isn’t the beginning of the series’ decline because its been in decline since 2011!
It isn't the beginning because the decline of the AC series had already started.
