While IGN has seen Blizzard's Wrath of the Lich King expansion a few times now, they hadn't actually gotten to play as the new hero class, the Death Knight, until now. The first new class since World of Warcraft launched back in 2004 was on display in all his level 55 glory at the Worldwide Invitational 2008 event in Paris, France. After toying around with his class skills for a bit, IGN found there's unfortunately little to say.
Since he starts out at level 55, the Death Knight only had about seven or so skills available. Such limitations make it difficult to provide any meaningful insight into how the class might actually play, an issue complicated even further by the fact that it's a class that's not yet finished. Since there's no actual release date on Wrath of the Lich King yet, the Death Knight could presumably be worked on for another year or more.
Blizzard may have accidentally revealed the release date for Wrath of the Lich King Classic with an edit to the expansion's product page.
The random dungeon finder existed in the original Wrath of the Lich King. It needs to exist in Classic Wrath as well.
BLG writes: "To celebrate the announcement of Dragonflight, the latest World of Warcraft expansion, we decided to rewatch all the game’s cinematics and rank them from worst to best. Including the latest one, of course. In fact, we purposely waited until the new expansion got announced before putting together this list because we wanted to see how the Dragonflight trailer stacked up against all the other WoW cinematics. Spoiler alert: it’s not amazing, but it's not the worst one either."
