Playing a video game? No, it's health therapy

Video games are known to improve hand-eye coordination but can they help someone quit smoking or lose weight? I hope thers more reasons like this that shows video games can be good. My mom always tells me video games are bad for your eyes. That's why I can't buy a psp. :(

the only reason video games would be bad for your eyes is if:
1. your sitting to close to the tv
2. you play non stop with out taking a break and not blinking your eyes.
3. you play the psp with out good lighting or with no light.

i suggest if you get the psp buy a light for it cause it will ruin your eyes if you play it with out a light.

Thanks for the advice but I don't do any of those things. I always play in the noon time with bright lighting and I rarely play over 30 minutes.

It helps as long as you're not playing MGS4.

You just got off your drug addiction. Now you have another addiction to worry about.

Question is, how you gonna get off that one?
