Congrats to beating the 360's 7.6m first year shipments, especially impressive considering 360 launched in 36 Countries and X1 in just 13. And if you believe the RROD failure rate is really high then MS market share is REALLY UP.

Congrats as well to MS, who just passed Exxon Moble to become the 2nd most valuable company anywhere.

I'm just as pleased of Xbox's success :) Especially after that E3 2013 Reveal, they did a real good job of bringing it back! :D
Although when it comes to market share I think Playstation owns 64% right now :l But they are definitely getting better and better! :D

The X1's a much, much better console from when it was first revealed. XBL monthly updates/offerings, better price, very good games, bundle offerings.

This year was lacking overall in AAA BlockBusters but that's usually the case with first year sales.

Exclusive wise I'm looking forward to.

Halo 5, Fable Legends, Rise Of The Tombraider, Quantum Break and ScaleBound (hopefully 2015)

Third Party.

DOA 5, Evolve, The Witcher 3, Mass Effect 4, StarWars Battlefront and The Division.

Nice. Its been a rough year but its good to see Phil and the team pulling through and turning things around, the update team too needs to be commended. they've all done a fantastic job.

Its good to give back to your fans. I know a couple of xbox fans who got gifts from MS in the last month. One of them was rewarded for being a loyal xbox live subscriber and some others got Ryse(digital copy) after purchasing the SO bundle and KI after subscribing to xbox live.

Can't wait to see what MS has planned for fans next year,hoping they deliver some amazing content.

Custom background? I was talking about awesome games like Titanfall, Sunset Overdrive, Forza Horizon 2, and Halo MCC and awesome features like the ability to use my own 4tb external HDD to save the large amount of awesome games on it. Try that with another system.

Calm down and relax and enjoy what your system provide. I am sure the PS4 is a great system as I have one myself and Driveclub and LBP3 are also decent games to play. Nothing wrong with that. Be thankful and not ungrateful as Thanksgiving is around the corer. :)

Regarding DX12…. Nope. Spencer's already crushed that dream for you, and CD Projekt rubbed salt in the wound: http://www.gamespot.com/art... Think about what TW3's engine is doing and then consider that if DX12 can't help that game reach 1080p, then how do you think things are going to go down as this generation progresses and games become more advanced and complex?

Regarding that Halo 5 screen - regardless of the game's quality, if you're trying to pin your hopes on DX12 making less powerful hardware, run games better than more powerful hardware, you're might just need to check out of that mental hospital that is MisterXMedia's blog. The 2013 launch game Killzone: Shadow Fall looks easily as good as what we've seen of Halo 5.

And since Halo 5 is targeting 1080p/60fps, good luck with that. I hope you don't carry those delusions with you for the rest of this generation.

"best visuals" - I don't know how many sources I could post to humiliate this point.
"best software" - games or apps? PS4 and Wii U have the better rated games, pound for pound.
"best UI" - The UI was built around Kinect functionality, and as such is a mess of menus compared to the simple, snappy and gaming-focused PS4 UI.
"best features" - arguable. SharePlay is a greater gaming innovation than anything on Xbone, but the MS console clearly has the better non-gaming feature-set.
"best games so far than the rival" - again… PS4 and Wii U have the better rated games, pound for pound.
