“Future video games produced in Sweden could be labeled according to whether or not they promote gender equality, as part of a new project by gaming industry trade organization Dataspelsbranchen.”
The title is a bit misleading. Sweden is looking at the possibility of positive labeling for games that promote gender equality. "Labeling games for sexism" rather gives the notion that they're planning on labeling games that they deem are "sexist". That's not the case. Sweden started doing this with movies a couple of years ago, if I'm not mistaken. Feminism simply isn't the dirty word in Sweden as it is in other places. Most in Sweden identify themselves as feminists, with both left and right wing parties falling in line with many "feminist" ideals. Sweden is considered one of the most gender equal countries in the world.
