Halo's matchmaking is still broken - here's some fun things to do while you wait

Dealspwn writes: "Do I ever feel like an idiot. After refusing to give Halo: The Master Chief Collection a score last week because the matchmaking was untested, I finally got online over the weekend once 343 flicked the switch, successfully tried out the delayed netcode and awarded the game top marks.

Job done. Mission accomplished. Only problem being that the matchmaking then fell to pieces almost immediately!

343 have been working around the clock to fix these problems and many gamers are reporting huge improvements. Unfortunately, I've personally found that the experience has worsened following yesterday's server-side updates, with some crazy wait times and the occasional loading screen freeze. So thank goodness The Master Chief Collection has four massive campaigns to keep you going, packed to the gunwales with fun stuff to try!"

Yes Mongoose stunts involving Scarabs, always you.

More Scarabs/huge enemies in Halo 5 please!

Blues Cowboy1377d ago

I prefer Scarab stunts involving Mongeese, but maybe that's just me. :P

But more to the point, yes, more massive set pieces would be great. Spartan Ops nearly delivered with that massive drill platform... that turned out to be a massive disappointment.

Entire armies fighting each other, please.

I cant believe this
Microsoft is so good at software and networking how is this pssoible only playstation things like this should happen to not MS sarcasm

DeadlyOreo1376d ago

Exactly. I can't believe how people are giving them a free pass on this, if this was a Playstation issue we wouldn't hear the end of it. This is unacceptable.

Cream1376d ago

Still doesn't work for me. I want nobody to get a free pass in hopes that the public complaints mean something.

PS user should complain when crap doesn't work and so should Xbox users.

Why would anyone defend their system when it doesn't. It like settling for less and not putting domains on developers. (we don't need to fix it... our customers will support us regardless!)

So much for the cloud right?

It's getting ridiculous that they haven't sorted this now. Microsoft need to apologize and offer money back etc. etc.

IWentBrokeForGaming1376d ago

They capitalized off your inability to wait on feedback/reviews and now you're entitled? Driveclub, Assasins Creed Unity, and Halo MCC fans only have themselves to blame!

isa_scout1376d ago

So because someone buys a game before other people tell their personal opinions on it(that's all reviews are anyway) it's the gamers fault? Wow dude, that logic.

nucky641376d ago

it's not the people who buy the games - the ones to blame are the developers. I don't think it's too much to ask/expect that the games run properly and without glitches or online issues.

IWentBrokeForGaming1376d ago

Essentially you bought crap cause you wanted crap!

ger23961376d ago

And this why they should wait to give out reviews for online portions of games. Maybe two separate reviews would be better, one for single player (if it has one) and a separate one for the multiplayer.

Mario Kart DLC Me thinks ;)
