Ubisoft, Ubisoft, Ubisoft.

First you cancel Blood Dragon 2, then the whole parity thing now releasing a buggy game with lots og MicroDLCtransaactions.

Get it together.

breakpad1104d ago (Edited 1104d ago )

hot these news up ..so all people can see Ubicrap's decline ...boycott lame devs until they get a grip and stop stealing us with crappy-quality games and flood of idiotic DLCs

DefenderOfDoom21104d ago

I blame the PUBLISHER's more then the developers for buggy , bad games.

Takwin1104d ago

I am so happy to see Ubisoft take a hIt in the only way that will affect them - their pocketbooks

Kevlar0091104d ago

It all started when they made Rayman Legends multiplat and delayed the finished WiiU version. they were pretty clean up until then.

jspsc1231104d ago

i forgot about that. i was actually going to buy it on the wii u. i ended up not buying any copy

MSBAUSTX1104d ago

I completely agree and have talked extensively about how terrible Ubisoft really is. I hope this speeds them up on the way to their inevitable demise. Good riddance to them.

turdburgler10801104d ago

The French may have wonderful cuisine and wine with a storied history but man do they suck at making games.

IGiveHugs2NakedWomen1104d ago

Yep. I completely agree. It's like they make games when they are drunk or high or something.

Eidos Montreal creates the epic turd Thief

Beenox The Not So Amazing Spiderman

Ubisoft Didn't define next gen Wathcdogs, Assassin's Creed just gets worse every year

At least there is one well known bright spot,
Quantic Dream

Torque_CS_Lewith1104d ago (Edited 1104d ago )

Quantic Dream of Beyond 2 SoLame fame? Lol no, try again.

Magicite1104d ago

2014 is full of disappointments coming from Ubisoft, lets hope FC4 will be good.

remember kids, buy on the dips!

Eamon1104d ago

heh, I was thinking that too. There'll always been investors who's strategies on shares are always reactionary.

This would definitely be a perfect time to invest. Ubisoft is not going anywhere and Ubisoft will not be shrinking any time soon.

uth111104d ago

I actually agree. With the number of new IPs Ubi has launched lately, I think they are a growth stock over the next couple years. Yes they may have quality control issues, but as long as that doesn't impact sales, the market doesn't care.

lastdual1104d ago

Eh, but look at the monthly chart.

UBSFY has shot up around 25% from its low in mid-October. It's only natural for there to be a pullback, and right now it's still holding on to half those gains.

This could be a decent setup for a quick day trade maybe, but I wouldn't buy big unless it dips back to around $3.

Death1104d ago

It's stock. It goes up and down all day long every day of the year. http://charting.nasdaq.com/...

Eamon1104d ago

Yes, but a dip after the launch of a major release is somewhat newsworthy. No doubt, this is a reaction to the whole technical mess scandal that unfolded on twitter.

Death1104d ago

If the stock was steady and then dipped, maybe. Prior to the games release the stock spiked. After the release it came back down to it's pre-surge levels. The dip has absolutely nothing to do with anything the gamers perceive as a mess. Investors contrary to what many believe don't frequent n4g. The spike and dip are typically day traders playing the short game. Ubi stock is still selling for a dollar more per share than this time last year.

Eamon1104d ago

Twitter is not N4G, mate.

starchild1104d ago (Edited 1104d ago )

It's funny the way the vocal minority of gamers on the internet inflate their self importance. Usually their opinions are nothing more than a blip in the grand scheme of things. These people overreact to everything and they imagine the rest of the world is like them. In reality, Unity is a pretty solid game and the vast majority of people will enjoy it and not think twice about the framerate.

What's stupid is, Unity actually runs better than some of the Assassin's Creed games on last gen consoles, which suffered from framerate drops down into the teens AND had screen tearing to boot. Unity runs better than those games, yet supposedly we're supposed to believe that it is a "broken mess" that nobody should buy. Not to mention that on PC I have a solid framerate and haven't experienced any game-breaking bugs or glitches any worse than most open world games. The whole thing is being blown way out of proportion, as usual.

Maxor1104d ago

Will raise 16% with Farcry 4.

Father__Merrin1104d ago

i predict Ubi stocks to fall further as gamers all over the world refuse to buy AC unity, i personally wont be looking into PS4 version due to inept development leading to Fps issues.....im probably not alone....

Eamon1104d ago

See, that's the thing. Ubisoft did the dickhead move by making release embargoes at 12PM on release day.

A few days before release, early buyers were reporting so many issues. I decided I'd rather cancel my PS4 version preorder and wait till it's cheaper on PC. Unfortunately, it was too late, and my preorder was already dispatched before I could cancel.

jackwei221104d ago

Yeah I am getting GTA V on PS4 instead.

CaptainObvious8781104d ago

After the whole parity BS I was renting this anyway, but now I'll be waiting a few months until Ubisoft patch it up.

There's a tidal wave of games to play in the mean time. No worries for me at all.
