Rockstar have witnessed the public outcry towards AC: Unity because of the technical problems and they are just trying to avoid this happening to their game [if] GTA V has any technical issues. Engaging with consumers before release to let them know they will be trying to rectify issues and that their game is not a cash grab.

I don't think Rockstar have anything to worry about. A big part of the public feeling is bad feeling about the whole parity issue that hasn't dissipated. Parity, and micro transactions in a full priced game demonstrate that Ubisoft see their consumers as nothing more than people to be exploited.

You're probably right!

It's the trade-off with bigger developers/publishers unfortunately - MONEY RULES ALL DECISIONS. On an individual level the devs no-doubt still have passion and drive to deliver the best content they can, but as you work up the chain of commanded to the ones pulling the purse strings, you lose a lot of that and it becomes pure financial gain at the cost of quality. Capitalism. :(

More interested in money than giving fans what they want. Such a shame

With the amount of money they generated, I just don’t understand the scrubbing of this. It would’ve been fantastic for fans.

I really want to know who drove the decision to focus on multiplayer was it Rockstar or take two.

Because when online started taking off many of the studio leads began having falling outs and leading including a founder

This makes me sad. Trevor was one of my favourite characters in gaming

One of the reason I believe once gta 6 release, most of us thoroughly play it, enjoy the world they crafted then after that no offline support, no dlc at all
