Bungie has decided to ignore one of their biggest assets when it comes to their biggest game in Destiny. It may now be time to change the course.
Solution: Step 1) Research and join a large clan. Step 2) Befriend your clanmates. Step 3) Have Fun. The best part of this is that I have gained friends to my friends list through my clanmates.
When I'm loading up a game, the very first thought I often have is; boy I sure hope I get to do some research before I can simply play this thing! /s Matchmaking should be there, at least as an option, period.
It is there though, just not for every mission , only raids . i felt like the story missions were pretty easy to do on my own, having a squad wouldve made it easier. The thing i di t like is that you need interet fir single player and also tnrw we wint even be able to play it all because of maintenance
To be fair, it's kinda precedented in raiding for them to be pre-made/PUG(pick up group) only until they're outdated. It's not like this is new to the raiding scene. Although I will say that Destiny should have had a party board or something of the sort.
You play online games designed for groups without having a group of friends along for the ride? Then you deride others for doing so? Why? And it isn't too hard to find clans since they are all available at Bungie.net.

Helpful bubs for you! I am in a clan that has hundreds of participants. It is only for adults/ parents though.
The last two nights I played with new peeps in VoG. At the boss the same guys made the same mistakes, over and over, even after telling them what to do. After around 10+ unsuccesful tries I left. Just couldnt handle being on the boss for over an hour. Everything but raids, yes use the matchmaking.
