The Evil Within (PS4) Review | gamrReview

gamrReview's Jake Weston: "The Evil Within’s biggest sin is that it just isn’t particularly scary. It’s certainly gory, and at times thrilling, but by combining a smorgasbord of horror cliches and tropes, The Evil Within fails to earn its own identity, instead content to rest on the laurels of its inspirations. There’s a good game hidden within, well, The Evil Within, and at times the brilliance that Mikami has shown in past games does shine through, but these moments are few and far between. The Evil Within will appease survival horror fans looking for a nostalgia trip, but everyone else should approach with caution."

That's my plan, either Best Buy or Target. Online of course, to hell with those lines.

luckily the game has already sold pretty well(~900k 1st week) so we should see a more polished big big budget sequel
personal goty so far but it looks like dragon age might take it

You will be getting a great deal on a great game. Much better than this review score implies.

I have never seen such mixed reviews for any other game in history.

From the people I know who played it, they said it's well worth it so this game if anything I will get on BF. From what I gather its a bit scary but more on the bizzare and disturbing side, pretty much like Silent Hill...SH is not scary at all, its just on some next level weird stuff and I prefer that over cheap scares.
