Dan Rizzo says "PGA Tour 2K23 is still a fine Golfing simulator, but it lacks improvement from its predecessor giving a need for imperative upgrades. A year off would have given the team some time to refresh and reboot what could have been a welcome reprisal, to re-invent the establishment."
From Games Beat: "It looks like 2K Sports has caught a tiger by the tail, in more ways than one.
Today, the Take-Two publishing label announced that it’s not only acquired PGA Tour 2K developer HB Studios but that it’s also signed a multiyear deal with Tiger Woods, one of the greatest golfers to ever play on the pro tour. 2K Sports did not disclose financial details of either transaction. This year’s game, PGA Tour 2K21, has sold nearly 2 million copies since its release, in part because of HB Studios’ capability to mix easy-to-learn, understandable controls and other mechanics of golf (like reading greens, ball spin, and so on) with a good-looking presentation. It’s just a fun golf game, and I talked to HB Studios about making this game and its reception during a pandemic in October."
This is such good news. Some may not agree but I don't feel golf games have been the same since they dropped his name. With his input again I hope they're back to the glory days of golf games.
This now that his actual golfing career may be over??? He busted up his legs pretty good, and I'm sure that accident did no favors to his back after his most recent of numerous back surgeries. The only chance to see Tiger competitively golf again may be in a videogame. Sad.

I really love golf games, but I played golf on computers (Commodore 64 when the games were called Leaderboard, then, EA's Tiger Woods PGA Golf. The last Tiger Woods and future golf games after essentially sucked for years. I really want to get another golf game, but I wanna know it is good.
Bigben Interactive has today expanded its game publishing business through the acquisition of Spiders, the French developer of action-RPG game Greedfall.
Spiders is a great RPG company and I was expecting someone to buy them. Hopefully they'll get more money to grow as a company and be able to bring out more games.
