3x GTX 980's in SLI required.

I'd be happy if I got 1080p 60FPS on Ultra with my single 970.

So my question Is if I played it on ps3 but get it on xb1 how do I transfer my character?

Clunkyd1108d ago (Edited 1108d ago )

I think it has something to do with your Rockstar Social Club account. No need to worry, I'm sure they will let us know how.

This HD remastered version shame all of the worthless HD remakes like Last of Us, Tomb Raider, and Sleeping Dog. All of those games included no new animations or content. GTA 5 however included a FPS mode which requires a ton of new animations and cockpits for every vehicle. Outside of hardcore PC sims, this has never been done on the console. This is how you do a HD port people.

cannon88001108d ago

Shame on the last of us remastered? *1080p *60fps *higher resolution textures *DLC included etc. These are all improvements buddy. Tomb raider is also a bad example. The only good example you possibly have is sleeping dogs... maybe.

caseh1108d ago

Yeah wow, adding a first person perspective. Totally amazing, every game should do it. /s

Why does everyone keep referring to this as FPS mode?

Maxor1108d ago

The amazing thing about FPS mode is that it's not tacked on. They could've done it like The Last of Us and Tomb Raider and performed a resolution and texture bump, throw in all the DLCs, and collect $60 and call it a day.

Instead they added FPS mode which requires a massive amount of animations and art asset that weren't in the game before. Every gun, and weapon in the game now requires a new animation in FPS mode. Iron sight animations, scope animations, baseball bat swinging animations, knife stab animations, cover animations etc etc.

Then there are the vehicles with brand new 3D cockpits with working dials and gauges for every car, trucks, motorcycles, helicopters and jets? All working seamlessly without any loading screen? If that isn't amazing then I don't know what is. This isn't a quickie HD port. They clearly spent a ton of time working on this before or after release.
