Let’s Play Halo: The Master Chief Collection – Halo 3: Sierra 117

EB's Matt Heywood writes, "The third entry in our Let’s Play Halo: The Master Chief Collection series of videos is for Halo 3, in particular, the Sierra 117 mission from the campaign. Unlike Halo and Halo 2, Halo 3 didn’t receive a major visual/audio facelift, but it still looks pristine in 60fps, and for the most part the 2007 visuals hold up real well with a bit of polish added to them. I don’t want to downgrade how well this game looks, it’s just not as drastic of a change as we’ve seen in Halo and Halo 2."

Not as drastic of an improvement as Halo 1 and 2, but still looks great in 60fps.

yeah, it's only natural that the 3rd and 4th games wouldn't have as much of a leap visually.

Even those who are familiar with the Anniversary Edition of Part 1 may not be blown away either.

However, the silky smooth 60fps and overall crisper graphics will definitely make you feel like you are playing a different game.

Super jealous I don't have an XB1. To all you MS gamers, I envy you come November 11th. Enjoy it.

Still looks and runs better than Destiny though.

Destiny should have had scifi weapons think it would have made the game a bit better in the long run. As for the video 15-16 min mark looks beautiful outside the cave.

Halo 3 is still one of my favourite co-op games, just so much fun.

Definitely, the campaign was amazing. What they were able to achieve with those 4 scarab fights, they couldn't even match in future halos. I can't believe we haven't been able to fight a scarab since then, except for the one in ODST.
