Entertainment Fuse: The Digital High guys kept this episode short yet still managed to pack it full of news. Trailers for Avengers 2, Sunset Overdrive, and Halo Nightfall have been released. Is Sunset Overdrive going to be another disappointing AAA game in 2014?
Also, an indie dev tweeted something regarding Gabe Newell that was quickly regretted. What is going on with this death threat from the developer of Paranautical Activity, and should Steam reverse the punishment by putting the game back on its digital store?
For those who don't have time for massive open worlds or role-playing games with epic tales, these 15 games are worth checking out.
Gamingbolt writes: "Insomniac Games has enjoyed commercial success on a level it had never seen before with its Marvel’s Spider-Man games, but not all of its titles in the last decade or so have seen eye-watering sales. In fact, specifically where Sunset Overdrive is concerned, the money the studio has made off it is quite negligible, to say the least."
Not gonna lie... looking at the IG roadmap I was fully hoping to see SSOD2 and Resistance reboot on there. The first SSOD was fun. It definitely needed the benefits of a 60fps mode and I was expecting there to be some sort of patch or FPS boost support when played on SX. Sadly... that ship sailed, but Sony gave me hope they would do the game justice. It really is a fun game that deserves to be played.
If it were on PlayStation it would’ve sold better. Being a Microsoft exclusive was a mistake.

I'm sure that big platform jump had nothing to do with it right? Pull a Rare, win Rare Prizes.
Re. R&C and the 8 million, I wonder if hitting PS+ Extra hurt its legs? Good get for the service, but did it eat some sales?
Even if they've laid dormant for a long time or were known for their massive scale, these franchises could work as more condensed games.
I don't think you can get more condensed than Second Son, it was pretty short and felt like stuff was missing at times.
What's with companies wanting to shorten games? It's as if they want to cater to gamepass and lower the quality of games.
I agree Dino Crisis and ZOE. But I also want Sony to dust off Wild Arms. See if Square can do something with Parasite Eve and Grandia. Would love a new Resistance game also Kain just so many great titles and franchises that need to see the light again.
InFamous 1&2 Remakes would kick so much ass. They are inherently fun to play and modern visuals would rock.
Not if you listen to all the previews. Looking like a lot of fun, clearly the developers concentrated on gameplay, graphics look good too, but as a lot of ppl found out recently, graphic without good gameplay is nothing.
And Amazon sold out of the SSO Bundles.
Edit: I have to laugh at all the trolls and stealth disagrees here.
It's the always the same trolls:

I DEFY anyone, MODS, to check their comment history and see this group continually spamming X1 articles, it's like an unhealthy obsession. Like they're not happy with their choice so feel compelled to come here out of frustration.
On a positive note, that's a lot of interest in a MS exclusive, and clearly they want those MS exclusives, that's why they're here, despite what they write, they don't have the integrity to give credit where credit is due.
Why?
because they are truly LIVID with the fact that x1 has a great holiday season, lol, their tears are delicious.
Looking forward to a great holiday, #dealwithit
I hope not. It looks neat.
We have no reason to believe Sunset will disappoint. Most previews seem positive, and the game should be a good addition to this massive 2014 gaming year
it looks freakin awesome
I don't have high hopes for it based on there past. Resistance 3 was when they started going down. 2 was much better. Then they left sony and made fuse which was their worst game. I've seen a few tv spots for this lately and it doesn't look that good.
