Silent Hill 4: The Room is a claustrophobic adventure that delivered psychological scares like the series had never seen before.
I liked this one, but it didn't review well when it came out. The way the room you're in get's creepier and creepier between each level really reminds me of the new PT demo.
I've completed every Silent Hill game, and I thought this one was meh.
I've always said silent hill 4 was the scariest and most disturbing of all the Silent Hills. Easily my favorite, right next to Silent Hill 2 & the Water ending. I still hope they can somehow pull off a movie based off the silent hill 2 water ending. Could be one of the better suspense horror movies to come out in a long time if done right.
I cannot believe it! finally someone that think the way I do. I love every EVERY Silent Hill game and excluding P.T. I can say that SH 4 was the most frightening of them all. "The Room" main idea was so amazing. And it keeps unsurpassed to date in the videogames world. If you have not played this SH yet, run for a copy!
Oh man Ive been looking for an Xbox copy to play on my 360 (I played it on a ps2 I gave to a friend with no console) and can't find one anywhere... I've ran through all of them with my gf except the 1st and 4th. I've played them all but she's yet to see those two. P.T. tho... Damn. Del toros creatures with kojimas cinematics and intensely outrageous story telling along with his epic trolling puzzles and boss fights should make this intense. Really interested to see how the P.T. demo may influence the series.
