Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 Dribbling Past the Wii?

Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 was officially announced today for (nearly) all platforms, except for the Nintendo Wii. While sales for PES 2008 Wii weren't stellar, the game did score higher on metacritic than every other version released last year, largely due to an innovative control scheme that was centered around Wii's pointer functionality.

Will PES release late on the Wii again next year, or will Konami skip it entirely? (Pro Evolution Soccer 2009, Wii)

I'm leaning towards it just releasing late, but I still wish they would release the Wii version on time with the others to give it a fair chance!

for one its isn't pes 2009 on wii most likely since the wii version goes with the title playmaker as well
moreover pes on wii plays extremely different from any other version as well perhaps they are looking to make improvements to that as well.

I agree
Hopefully the PES series on Wii is being branded with the Playmaker title and will see a release in the fall alongside the other, traditional PES titles.

I agree with both you guys. The wii is special so they must either be releacing it late or titling it diffrently. I mean come on. The Wii is a family system. If they wanna make some extra salesm, the wii is perfect home.

We'll just have to wait and see.
