Hey Poor Player's Roundabout writes- We start off with our protagonist Sebastian Castellanos responding to a call for assistance dealing with a violent situation at a nearby mental hospital, with some other people I guess. The game sure as hell doesn’t seem to care about the other people in the car so why should I. Bad shit happens and we wake up hanging upside-down in the torture fun-house of a spooky scary leather-face wannabe. After a short scripted sequence you have a stealth sequence around this enemy with a ton of places to hide and the ability to throw bottles really far away making it a total breeze. A super scripted hallway ensues for about 10 minutes leading into a cut-scene about nothing. Let’s just stop there. The story obviously didn’t seem to matter to anyone making this at all. There was no character development; you barely learn anyone’s name. It’s just edgy visuals for the sake of being edgy.

F.E.A.R. was another amazing game, shame the series went downhill with 2 and then fell off entirely with F3AR.
Couldn’t get into Fatal Frame, bought the remaster on PS5 and just…couldn’t.
I swear people these days don't have a clue how to review games.
Ouch. That's a harsh review. Is the game unplayable as a 1 out of 5 seems to point to that?
The only thing I can't stand about this game are the black bars and how zoomed in the camera gets when you use weapons.....it gets especially annoying when the enemy is like right up in your face. The story isn't great, but it's entertaining enough for me.
I'll try to summarize this crap that someone calls a review so that no one else has to waste 5 minutes of their life reading it.
Some guy plays The Evil Within on his sh*tty computer then writes 12 paragraphs b*tching about how sh*tty the game plays on his PC.
The end...
Hmmm people these days doesn't seem to understand the purpose of this kind of games. I think TEW is a great game that brings back the joy and feel of gaming as a kid back in the 90's and early 00's :)
