GameZone: "When Bungie announced The Iron Banner for Destiny, they emphasized "gear means everything." After all, the week-long event is said to be the "true" Crucible test as it removes the automatic balancing that's normally in place. In theory, the Legendary and Exotic weapons and gear you've farmed for should make a difference, giving you an advantage over those who wield only Rares. For many, though, that doesn't seem to be the case."
Destiny has made over $160 million in MTX revenue, and these numbers only account the data from late 2017 to early 2019.
That's extremely low for microtransactions, especially for a game that's essentially designed around it
For as much as ppl complain how much they hate microtransactions, they sure don’t act like it. No wonder they aren’t going anywhere.
In Episode 1 of Spot On, a new weekly news show, Gamespot talks about the dangers of chasing a trend.
Playing Destiny 1 on PC has been something fans have been requesting for years. It looks like Destiny 1 is now playable on PC via the RPCS3 emulator.
wow ......i feel .....wow
This game needs a shot of some serious TLC and quickly. I admit I had a blast with it for the first two weeks. But I haven't touched it since and it seems to be dwindling among people on my friends list as well. The first few weeks I'd easily have 19 out of 20 friends (give or take) on PSN and playing Destiny...now whenever I sign on its closer to 3 or 4 still playing (and 90% of that time I see them in Orbit or the Tower).
This game had SOOO much potential but it seems like Bungie just dropped the ball...and then ran screaming from it. I hope in the coming weeks/months they fix the issues and add the rest of the game back into it. The foundation is solid, they just forgot to put the house on top of it :/
If bungie was a person i would have slapped it 20 times across the face for every common sense mistake they made.
Its like they hype everything but they are too lazy to code it that way or just stupid.
You know that map on skirmish the glass something. Why not give us that map on a 6v6 deathmatch it would be chaotic and super fun. But nope bungie wants a bunch of super mature people playing their game in a super perfectly world of theirs
I'm level 28 with decent gear and I run positive KDR all day long. I have not been smoked by lower level characters unless I'm up against 2 or more. The only time I seem to lose a game is when my team is filled with lower levels or I'm up against the Vex Mythoclast (saw a guy score 11k with it).
Being a high level character doesn't mean you get a pass.
They are right. Gear matters, but skill matters more. If your getting stomped by lower level characters in IB maybe the IB isn't for you.
Even the regular playlist skill doesn't really matter. AR are super op and anyone can run around with a shotgun.
