Captain Toad Treasure Tracker release has also been announced by Nintendo today as well along with Super Smash Bros on Wii U
$40? Nice! I'll probably pick this one up for Christmas. It's not the highest on my list of games to play but it certainly has its charm.
One of my most wanted games. Can't wait for this.... $ 40 is awesome, and I'll most likely spend that $20 I saved on extra DLC for the game, which I'm assuming is in the works. Don't see why it wouldn't with a game like this. I was getting the feeling this would be launched in 2015....
Game seems trippy can't wait to crack a beer and try toad for once aka mushroom head
I have been looking forward to this game so much since E3 and I will definitely be a day 1 supporter. Probably going to Download it though instead of making a trip. Resale not going to be something I do for this one for a long time probably and not too high of a price initially anyway. Cant wait. Best Q4 for Nintendo in years and definitely going to be the best core game year in years.
So many games to play this holiday!
This game seems like a guaranteed fun time. Expanding on the brilliant mini levels from Super Mario 3D World.
Im excited for it. I loved those levels. A whole game based around them is gonna be a great, unique game.
Day UNO for me and my family.
Wii u is a must buy for me this holiday.
Hope it sells well. Everyone will be spend $60+ on Smash, Amiibos, GC adapters and controllers. Will people even have enough for this game? So that is: Game: $60 Amiibo: 1= $13 GC adapter: $20 New GC controller: 1= $30 Four GC controllers= $90 Getting every amiibo= $234 Most you will spend= $404
As good as smash brothers will be, I predict less than 5 percent of people buying it will buy all of the things you listed. It works with the game pad, pro controller, classic controller, and game cube controller. I dont even know another person personnaly in my life that owns a Wii U so I have no need to buy a ton of remotes. However, I still have my wii remotes two classic controller, two pro cobtrollers and two gamecube controllers since I used them with my wii. Not to mention for $100 bucks you get smash U, GC adapter, and a GC cobtroller in a bundle. Couple that deal with all the other remotes this thing already works with and you save a bunch of money. I am sorry but amiibos will be mostly purchase for people between the ages of 5 and 10 years old. I am 30 and see no need for them nor do I want to be seen with them. I dont know if I am the majority or not but they do not add enough to the experience to pay 13 bucks for one. They are over priced any way. If I get any of them it would be Samus, Fox, or Link and that is only if they add something to their games which arent out yet. So that saves me a ton of money. I feel that about 3/4 of gamers will be more like me and be able to buy Smash U, Bayonetta 2, Hyrule Warriors, and Captain Toad and save about half of what you are going to pay for all those toys. But we will have 4 games to play isntead of only one. So yes there will be people who can buy this game but if they cant it wont be because of what you listed. It will be because they bought all The other great games coming this fall and winter.
your dead wrong Amiibo's in smash replace the CPU controlled player so they serve a purpose. JEM
I am 27, and my friends are around the same age. We are all way more excited than we should be for amiibo. I really doubt they will cater to only 5 - 10 year olds. If anything, theyll appeal more to young adults.
It wont sell but might be decent
This is a new IP. (just in case people wonder)
its so different gameplay wise.
