Sales are split 56 per cent on PlayStation 4, 41 per cent on Xbox One and 3 per cent on PC. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions launch on 21st November.

Congrats to Playground Games and Sumo Digital getting the top exclusive, FH2.

Ben Dover1412d ago

Except this is about Shadow of Mordor, but nice stealth trolling. Based on your comment history however, I'm not surprised.

Septic1412d ago

Actually you're wrong. The title may only mention Shadow of Mordor but the article discusses FH2 too.

Ben Dover1412d ago

You mean that one sentence? That's called "discussing"? Wow lol...

If you can't see he's trolling by congratulating an exclusive that's the ONLY exclusive released this past month, there isn't much more to say. I expected you to know better..

Foehammer1412d ago

I have some terrible news for you...

The first 2 words of the article are "UK chart"

This article comes out every week

It contains 40 games in a...........are you ready, a chart

At no point are 40 articles released covering every game.

I can see by your comment history that any Xbox success bothers you...

get over it

BTW, find Wii or PS4 article where I comment, good luck, you'll need it troll.

Ben Dover1411d ago

That's the point. You consistently post in 360 and Xbox One articles and consistently include PS4 related stuff in your comments and try to defend your console over and over to the point where your personal bias is taking over actual facts. Yet you call out others for fanboys where your own comment history reeks of fanboyism. Not to mention a number of your posts have been reported as trolling so apparantly the mods on this website agree.

Calling out others for being a troll when you're blatantly owned is quite ironic.

You Critisize others of trolling yet you're trolling every sales thread.
Take your bias fanboy glasses off for once.

Septic1412d ago (Edited 1412d ago )

Read the article please

"You don't have to go into every thread congratulating Microsoft."

Yeah I agree. Its getting annoying.

Genuine-User1412d ago (Edited 1412d ago )

I did, before this news was even posted on N4G.
I know it mentions Forza but let us stay on topic and talk about Shadow of Mordor. You don't have to go into every thread congratulating Microsoft.

nX1412d ago (Edited 1412d ago )

They deserve every cent for this masterpiece, I cannot imagine any other game than Shadow Of Mordor getting GOTY 2014. Hopefully they'll sell enough to meet WarnerBros targets so we can get a sequel (don't know how the story ends, still playing :D)

jrshankill1412d ago

It is an excellent game. I just unlocked the second map last night and I am taking my time.. don't want to rush through it.

I am not a LOTR fan neither, but I can still enjoy the game.

The combat is addictive... to the point where you know you shouldn't run into a bunch of bad guys but you can't help yourself.

The only criticism I have so far is it that the missions can feel a little disjointed, and because you are having so much fun with side missions the main story can be left behind. I think both should progress at an even pace.

But, yeah, excellent game so far.

R00bot1412d ago

I'm not surprised by this news, Shadow of Mordor is an incredible game, plus all other Lord of the Rings games have been fairly disappointing.

GarrusVakarian1412d ago (Edited 1412d ago )

Blasphemy! The PS2 games were glorious!

But that may just be nostalgia talking.

R00bot1412d ago

Nostalgic glasses tint everything in some way :)

Mr_cheese1412d ago

Lukas, the ps2 games were indeed fantastic!

mafiahajeri1412d ago (Edited 1412d ago )

Umm no the ps2 game were great and got critical acclaim also.

Aswell as the RTS games battle for middle earth

Please don't talk out of your ass next time ;)

Fishermenofwar1412d ago

Those games were Epic...Two Towers and Return of the King...

R00bot1412d ago

I didn't say they were bad?

cfc831412d ago

If pc entered the eurovision song contest, they would be luxembourg. Waste of time releasing it on that platform.

Sir_Baron1412d ago

Doesn't take into account steam sales only retail. So carry on enjoying those medium graphics. :D

Harmonizer1412d ago

the 3 % only accounts for retail sales. PC is a Digital business nowadays, so the PC % is a lot larger than that.

badz1491412d ago

I'm not in agreement with his trolling of pc in any way but the game is being sold digitally on PS4 and Xbone too. so, sales are still probably higher for consoles if digital copies are included.

AlexFili1412d ago

The PC version is fantastic and has some of the best graphics in recent years

I like to see a breakdown of sales for 360 and PS3 when the game comes out.

Fifa 15 would be a game that would show how many people had jumped to next gen.

In the UK Fifa sales are higher on 360, And why would you buy Fifa 15 on an old gen system if you got a next gen console?

Not sure what the breakdown will be here its not a title you can predict sales easily for. But, i hope someone does it just to see.

Eonjay1412d ago (Edited 1412d ago )

1 FIFA 15 XB360
2 FIFA 15 PS4
3 FIFA 15 PS3

Last week Fifa on PS4 was first. Just assume that there are more 360 owners than PS4 owners and that Fifa is very popular.

Also a better way of showing the next gen jump is to look at Forza. It sold 73% on Xbox One and only 27% on 360.
