Why Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's maps took two years to make

Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare's Glen Schofield has discussed aspects of the game's development process, from designing maps around changing player abilities and introducing features as the result of a game jam at studio Sledgehammer Games.

The studio co-founder and chief creative officer explained the futuristic abilities introduced in this year's entry - such as double jumps, ground slams and quick dashes - were developed in tandem between Sledgehammer's single player and multiplayer teams.
