The snap double-tap is good for people who don't have Kinect...

I was unaware of it until just now...
Viva la no more accidental snapping!

It was part of the September update. I actually use it more than the kinect.

I can't believe you have to disconnect from Internet to install games. I did own an xbox one and the install times were extremely long. It never actually bothered me, but after changing to ps4 now it's kinda silly. My copy of diablo 3 was ready to play after just 15-20 seconds of install time. The xbox one can take 15-20+ mins. Why does it take so long? They have very similar hdd's and blu Ray drives so can't really be read and write speeds.

One thing ive always wondered too. I can wait 10-15 minutes, it doesn't bother me but I would like it to be as fast as my PS4.

Yeah I mean it's only a one off thing and if you can't wait that long your too impatient but it's just strange why it does take so long. It can't be a hardware thing so must be to do with the os. I'm surprised it's not been updated yet.

I installed Shadow of mordor and in minutes I was playing. Not sure why it takes you 15 minutes.

You don't have to disconnect from the Internet, it's just a trick that supposedly makes the download go faster.

I haven't tried this trick out. Anyways, I hate these articles that can all be on one page and they force you to do mass clicks to read each "trick"... They were wworth reading at least.

I think it comes down to processing. A certain guy that worked with Universal, mentioned that the project he was working on had a secondary processor to help better facilitate background tasks.
