With Driveclub‘s release just beyond the corner (or more precisely the weekend), the first direct feed videos of the game are starting to appear on the web from copies that were delivered ahead of time.
Why must I continue being teased?! Give me my copy already!
Haha so true my friend... Thinking about pulling the plug out off the wall until Tuesday. :D It's a pity that I can't do it because of my work.
Does anyone know when the weather patch gets released? If you ask me, the game looks most photoreal with weather enabled.
Just a few more days! I've been in media blackout so I'm going to enjoy every minute of this! Finally, something to help make the PS4 shine :)
OMG there's, like, no shadows in the dark WTF the shadows must be broken?! I see light in front of the car, so where's the shadow that should be behind it?? ;^P On a serious note, hurry up Tuesday, I wanna tear me up some tarmac - game looks awesome fun!
Haha, good one :-P
Seriously?! How could they completely overlook something so simple and easy??? No buy!! /s Edit: these articles are starting to get trolled so hard looking at everyone's disagrees >_<
Yeah I know haha, it's ridiculous.
Based on your Agrees I'm happy to know, many people still have their sense of humour. ;) Edit: OMG! The Disagrees are coming! Brace yourselves!
I will ease the work for Xtrolls so they don;t have to repeat their trolling in every Driveclub article. hmmm lets see.... ah yes - Graphics look good and all but the gameplay feels boring. - I played DC! You literally just do a race, pick another race, do it, then pick another until you just don't feel like it anymore. It's ok. Not amazing. - Where is dat shadow!? unrealistic. - Only 5 cars?! - The damage is so last gen. - FH2 has META metacritic SCORES! of 8s 9s, 10s and 11s and 100/10! etc....
one of the major impressions i got from the video is the audio of the vehicle was very uninspiring. as a car guy (who actually doesnt like car games) that exhaust note was very blah. didnt have the great sound of a car like that would have.
Exactly the car sounded like Vacuum cleaner! Even Vacuum cleaners sound better! Skip this game 1/10! lol! My real Maserati granturismo doesn't sound like Vacuum cleaner! PC master race!!!!!
Which is funny because some of the car manufacturers that they recorded from asked the DC devs if they could keep a copy of their engine audio as it was more accurate than they themselves had. Though I don't recall which manufacturer it was, I think it was either BMW or Audi. I can't pass judgement on it myself yet has I'm only using my shitty laptop speakers.
@sam889 what does "PC Master Race" have anything to do with my response to how the car sounded? in a driving game, do developers not replicate how a car looks, handles, power, torque, sounds? yes they do. @generic-user-name no way in hell can i believe a car manufacturer rely on a video game developer to have "better sound" for their exhaust tones then the car manufacturer themselves. ive been in the vehicle business long enough to know that isnt possible. emissions is a top priority for any car manufacturer, along with how a performance vehicle sounds.
Shows how much you critique yes car manufactures relied on the games audio because it was precisely accurate, it was BMW AND Mercedes Benz heres the article http://www.psu.com/news/235... @generic
you forgot "is this ps3? preorder cancelled"
Lol, for the second one. Lol.
